I agree.  And I also have seen Brady, Montana, Rogers,  Brees have bad games in a season, not saying Sam is that.  However, Sam was bad, so was the oline, special team and play calling at times...

Let see how we bounce back against the vikings

This.  I am looking forward to see who is healthy for Sunday.

Sam has always been a guy that will try to make a play even if it isn't there... holding the ball to long is result + when he gets rushed, like he did in Dallas and last week, he will start making bad decisions.  There are things that happen to any QB that has little to no time to set-up (see last SB) and I am not making excuses for him.. I thought he was making progress, and he is, but he still needs to be coached up and the CS needs to make sure he doesn't lose confidence.

Finally, what the hell is with your OC and his second half PC?  The guy sits on a lead and becomes conservative...

Rhule talked about how Sam wasn't going to his first read and how he needs to trust the system and take what he's given.

I think they were emphasizing that to him late in the eagles game, and that's why he made that throw to Robby(his 1st read) on the 3rd pick.

If that's the case, Brady made a bad play call due to not trusting the line, and Sam pays for it because he trusted the system.

Not including the really lazy route that Robby ran which hung Sam out to dry even more on a route he throws before Robby begins his "come back".  If Robby ran the route he was supposed to, much less put a little effort in at the very worst he would have been in position to knock the ball down.

That's one thing he always will have over Teddy Asswater at least.

10000% this.     I don't want excuses.  ONLY RESULTS (Positive ones).

Just find a way to win next week (or at least not suck ass like you did today...good lord).

100% agree.  Lip service means nothing unless it’s a hot chick on your tool.  😳

That’s because he’s routinely been part of the problem his entire career.

His entire career was spent with the Jets prior to coming here.

That would imply that he caused the Jets to suck than the Jets caused the Jets to suck which is highly unlikely.

The jets sucked at nearly everything from punting, to pass d, to rushing.  I don't know how you get so bad without actually trying.

hehe...........Cam Newton is available!!!!

I just don't see that happening.

Its a shame what happened to him.

Cam kicks the Pats ass all those years.  Then the Pats injure him in preseason and he can't play his last year here.  The Pats then acquire Cam in year and give him Damiere Byrd to throw to, and run him more than ever, using him as a battering ram.   Then they keep him until just before the season starts so he can't find a new team, and then drop him.

I hate the pats and Belchek.  The man is evil.

I hope we beat the living tar out of the Pats.

    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
