Sometimes you have to squeak out an ugly one.

On a separate note, this team has some depth. 4-1 without our leading scorer from last year…

When healthy our rotation turns into:

G - LaMelo Ball, Ish Smith

G - Terry Rozier, Cody Martin, James Bouknight

F - Gordon Hayward, Kelly Oubre, JT Thor

F - Miles Bridges, Jalen McDaniels, Kai Jones

C - Mason Plumlee, P.J. Washington, Nick Richards, Vernon Carey Jr.

Very solid group.

Rather have an ugly win than a pretty loss.

if we are hitting our shots tonight, we should win.  Last game we started cold but got back of 50% from the floor and thanks to Gordon, Miles and Jalen over 46% from 3 by the end.   Even Cody went 2 for 2 from 3.  Hard to beat a team with those numbers even if we looked sloppy.

Oubre was 0-5 from 3..hopefully he'll bounce back.

    • Most recently the Steelers traded him and a 5th for Jalen Ramsey a TE and a 7th. The issue that I see is the contract situation.  He wants a new deal.  Trading for him without extending him makes it a one year rental.
    • Yeah.. its amazing how people get all worked up about contracts here.. like its "the next man up" in terms of mega contracts.. teams have already proven that its not hard to work around big contracts.  I often come here thinking that this is the place for good football talk but often realize that most people that post here know little to nothing about how football and the operations of football actually work. • My man didn't even read the article he linked.  That tells me all I need to know. In this article: Like you really sourced an article where the guy literally says Bryce can't take credit for the win.  Did you think I wouldn't read it?   And how is saying something factual ie "Bryce gets his 9th career GWD" building a mythos?  Game-winning drives have always been credited to QBs since the beginning of time.
