Losing to the Giants - should someone get fired?

If we get lit on D, someone's head on that side should roll. Jones and his nobody skill position players would need the game of their lives to not make heads roll. Outside of a healthy Jones, this is last year's Detroit lions team we saw with a banged up Stafford. They have a line that might just be worse than ours before the loss of the only OL worth a damn at LT. This is a meeting where the Panthers DL feast like earlier this year, but is more about the aweful OL in NY than anything. Just like the Jets.

Hate to re-post the same thing but :

If Sam can't beat this Giants team, then he can't beat anyone...(without CMC, that is)

And it proved to be true.

Goddammit...the Jets truly broke Sam.

In the future, I hope when Zach inevitably gets broken, that we don't "inquire" about him.

Let's go draft a QB instead.

The truth is Darnold was never good. He has to be one of the most overhyped QB prospects I’ve ever seen. He’s accomplished literally nothing in the NFL and wasn’t even that good in college.

And to top it off, Joe Brady is another massive hype train that has no merit to it. Brady has just been around success, never actually achieved it himself. He needs to go back to being an assistant on a well established staff like maybe Alabama or going back to the Saints and learn his trade. What a horrible decision hiring someone so inexperienced.

Right on both accounts, hep.

I said coming in this season that Sam had zero excuses....and he still sh*t the bed.

It's over.

And Joe Brady can f*ck off.

Maybe Rhule can pull a Bobby Petrino or something....then Joe can go with him back to the College Ranks.

I imagine Tepper won't stand for this sh*t any longer.

I can only imagine what Tepper is thinking right now. Dude has egg all over his face real hard. But what can he do at this juncture of the season aside from trade for an accused sexual predator who might not even be eligible to play?

    • Looking like it might be game 7 for Pitt and Phi. Philly is spent. I like more rest for the canes
    • Moton is the man through and through. 2 things I'll always give Gettleman credit for, 1 is drafting Moton, the other is building a SB contending roster and blowing it up in one off-season
    • Kurb is still alive and well.  I’m still friends with him on all of the social media.  He truly is a great man!  That’s my bro!  He always looked out for me since the early days of the huddle.  It definitely makes me sad that he just quit posting here, but that’s life.  He still shares his takes on social media and X, but a lot of the huddle vets just grew tired of this format and the environment, I guess?  It’s a lot of guys that were valuable contributors here that just stopped posting but are still alive and passionate Panthers fans.  Blindsite used to post huge write-ups and was a well-respected poster and then just disappeared.  We had one of these type threads several years ago and he checked back in and explained he just lost the motivation to stay active here.  It was amazing hearing from him again…   I signed up in 04 after coming over from the Charlotte.com boards and been here ever since.  (For those that don’t know - this is Proudiddy - had to change the name very recently due to ‘ol tootsie roll penis and the bad press 😂).  I’m forever thankful for all of you, even those who I haven’t had the greatest history with, I still appreciate yall.  Many have come and gone, both figuratively and literally, and that has put a lot into perspective over the years.  I went from a young, newly married, wide-eyed twenty year-old guy with a baby on the way, to a now forty-two year-old guy, recently divorced and newly re-married guy with my oldest baby now an adult and 5 more kids since.  And what ride it has been!  You guys have been a much bigger part of my life than I really care to acknowledge.😂
