I used to make mine with bacon fat and a bit of flour along with the spices to thicken it up.  Since I no longer eat meat I will have to use fake bacon for the flavor and maybe olive oil.

Had a fulfilling breakfast then went to my traditional Moscow mule. Make homemade fried Cajun chicken tenders with fries. Game time drinks are ole fashions. After the game, grilled cheese and tomato soup

Never used bacon fat, but we do use a drop of olive oil.

Today, first time making homemade pizza from scratch. None oF that prepared boboli crust

 

first “00” dough sample out of the 500 degree oven? Not bad.  Or quite ready to share with others yet, but not bad.

just got back from the NC Mtns, can wait to watch a recorded Panthers victory.. oh wait,, we lost to the lowly giants
