We lead the entire NFL in dropped passes. If you're gonna do something...

Only 3 players are within 2 drops of Robbie…and of course he leads them all. And the Panthers have almost a 100% (double) difference after the next few teams. No one even comes close except the Charges…after last game I think we’re 7 or so ahead of them lol.

It’s really fuging sad.

High dollar guys? Where? Our highest paid CB outside of Gilmore who has played one game and has one int is Donte with a cap hit of 2.4mil.

Shaq's cap hit is 8mil. We can pay our entire CB room minus Gilmore for what we are paying Shaq. He should have a bigger impact than those guys.

Shaq is likely being restructured. I don’t see anyway around this. His cap hit is a whopping 18.2 next year and 19.5 in 2023. Dead cap 12.5 and 6.2 respectively. Don’t think there is any out barring a trade.

Reddick is a beast, he has already earned his pay for this year and we have 9 more games to play.

11 TFL and 7.5 sacks in 8 games is elite.

I hope we find a way to resign him.

Absolutely. He is only scratching the surface of the force he can be. He needs to put on some more muscle to help with durability and we have the next Michael Strahan.

I can see a restructure and convert what you can into a bonus to prorated it and then add voidable years or whatever they do to make cap magically disappear. Get New Orleans on the phone...

He is the soul of the defense and when he is out we are a different group. When healthy he is a steadying force and a playmaker. You pay him whatever it takes and let the cap guys argue about how to structure it.

Amen.

Also, sometimes it's easy to forget with how much of a beast he is and how powerful and explosive his playstyle is, but I stumbled across his bio again, and was taken aback to remember he is only 6'1" 235 lbs.  This dude is whooping 300 pounder ass every week and destroying QBs at that size.  He is incredible.  Love me some Reddick!  I hope we get him signed long-term because dude is a baller and I also sense he has taken a leadership role on the defense.

Never thought I would feel this way about Shaq, but I do this season.  I love his play and he brings an energy I never saw from him before.  He definitely is a difference maker and we need to restructure to keep him long-term at a cap-friendly number.  Also love that we have Sulaiman in the building to figure those things out.

    • I don't think so. I think once you're measuring electronically, the spot is where the sensor says it is. So if it says half yard short of the line to gain, that's the spot. Now how that works with scrums and the ball moving on two minute drills and poo is anybody's guess.
