Stats, especially about intuitive things, usually only reinforces what most reasonable-minded people informed on the subject matter already know.

Did the Huddle really need that chart showing the Panthers had the worst offense in the League?  Thanks for making it crystal clear and leaving zero doubt though!

Actually, that’s not correct. We averaged 300 yards passing per game through the first 4 games. That was probably a top 5 or so passing offense. Now, what that says is that we’ve been so, so bad the last 5 weeks we were able to go from the near top of the heap to dead last. That’s comical.

Yay, early in the year when football is sloppy and there is no film, like I said. Also, 2 bad teams a NO trying to get up to speed. The first 6 weeks every year is sloppy building towards functional or fiction. Those games he did not look good, the other teams looked bad. The Vikings drive is the one time he looked at his best and that was 1 drive.

    • I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.
    • Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
