San Francisco 49ers GM John Lynch “liked” a tweet suggesting his team leave behind quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo on the tarmac in Nashville. Lynch said it was an accident. Who could blame him either way?

These guys should know not to have a Twitter account or any social media account.

Just a recipe for disaster.

I read his excuse was that he accidentally must've liked it while having his phone in his pocket during mass.  Lol...

It almost makes you want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but being you're the GM of an NFL team, why would you be that deep into other people's tweets that you could randomly like any of them...  he had to have already clicked on that tweet or a thread linking to it to even accidentally like it.  I feel bad for Jimmy, lol.

That dude has been banging porn stars and models all while taking home a big contract while underperforming. He's gonna be fine. Probably stings but I think he'll land on his feet.

If he had some sack on him, it will provide double the motivation to prove him wrong and then bolt elsewhere.

I love Cam and hate to see the same thing that happens to every great player in the league with the exception of Brady who is an alien and not worldly. It happens to every quarterback sooner or later. Cam's game is physical and always has been. If we are honest with ourselves, we knew he wasn't going to last 15 or 20 seasons playing that way and he was going to have to adapt to a pocket passer. But his shoulder injuries derailed that. So here we are at season 11 and Cam has played hard and done everything he could. He has nothing to prove or stick around for. I can't see Fitterer paying Cam as a starter next year. And do you think he would play for 5 million or less. So honestly what are the chances he is around next year even if Rhule is gone. No new coach will have ties to any player or coach. Certainly not one who last victory for us was years ago. Cam deserves better than to hang on like most players try to do.

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
