Like some say here it's not my money and Tepper is worth Billions.. If those brass balls on his desk anything.. After this incredible collapse of decision making since he has been here... Its time he show big Balls make a huge splash and steal either Harbaugh's from Michigan or Tomlin from Pittsburgh.. Make a statement don't hire another retread coach or unproven coordinator . Go big or just stick with your original investment...

I think his brass balls are made out of recycled plastic.

He gave a 7 year 70 million  dollars deal for a College coach with little NFL experience.. He should really be able to break a bank for either of those proven coaches..

Tepper "went big" the last time he hired a coach, paying out big money and giving full power to what was a hot name at the time.

Don't care about "going big" this time around. I'd rather he "go smart" and let someone else make the choice.

I don't consider that going big..  He paid big money for a hunch or bet that he was getting the next Jimmy Johnson or big thing.. Now go and get a actual successful HC with Tons of NFL experience and that other teams want.  . That's going big getting the guy other teams want with a proven track record of consistent success..

Oh he went big, paid a guy that’s never been an nfl coach not much experience top 5 coach money. If that’s not big idk what is.

P.S He wanted Tomlin gone when he has some shares with Pittsburgh so that ain’t happening

So Harbaugh, Tomlin or stick with Rhule???

Well the first two are highly unlikely so.....you just want to continue being a dumpster fire?

There are other Successful HC you can steal..  Pete Carroll, Sean Payton, and others I just don't care for the unknown Coordinator route or retread with no success.. Get the coach that might be looking for a new situation because he gotten stale at his franchise.. And throw big money at him..

Or yes ride it out another year with Rhule..

Why are you yelling? This job could be a career killer. They would be stupid to come here and leave what they have now. No currently successful head coach is coming here. It’s coordinator/first time head coach or retread. End of story.

What you call a career killer I call a opportunity... I'm sorry you loss faith but I still feel with better coaching this could be a team that wins consistently so let's agree to disagree.. END OF THE STORY!!

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
