I don’t want a safety a 6 when we have so many holes and no 2nd/3rd pick. That would be awful…

To be fair, we could use a safety. I'd be fine with getting a good one and maybe trying Chinn as a full time linebacker.

With that said, I don't want a safety at #6 overall either.

It’s pretty stupid to judge any of these guys off of a few snaps when…

A) It’s a new system and playbook for each one.

B) The OL’s have been horrible.

and

C) These guys have never played together.

It’s been said many times before but the practices leading up to the senior bowl are more important than the actual game.

At the end of the day each of these guys have pros and cons, some just have a higher ceiling and that’s what scouts are looking for nowadays.

To sit here and critique every single thing that they do like they are a finished project is a waste of your time and it’s pretty stupid as well.

Oh yeah we need one. We need a LB too, but we better not draft one of those at 6 either.

But people want to judge Cam based on '20 and '21 and say he's done even though he was in a losing situation both years.

That's the whole point and value of an evaluation bowl. Demonstrated how they will translate to nature of the NFL. They won't have 2 or 3 seasons to get used to every change they undergo as a pro for 20+ weeks.

And they are all definitely projects. None of these 6 are pro ready to start in the NFL for at least 3 to 4 seasons.

Cam did the best he could with the cards that he was dealt.

I don’t necessarily know if any QB can save this franchise if the offense as a whole isn’t revamped and the offensive line isn’t addressed.

They get an entire offseason… not three days of practice.

Scouts say all the time that the practice is more important because they can judge a players intangibles and ability in a one on one setting.

None of these guys are going to come in and save a franchise right away but that doesn’t mean Willis, Howell, Pickett, etc. aren’t capable of becoming an NFL QB based off of this game.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
