The Panthers have first round grades on 3 QBs.

They're all dudes you'd feel great about in the second round if you really needed a QB. Panthers have 6 overall and the QBs next year are better and they passed on a guy last year whod go 1 this year and somewhere a lesson needs to be learned in all of this

Here is what I do not understand about all these people calling these QBs hot garbage---

Compare Pickett to Mac Jones coming out of Bama--do you pick Jones?

Compare Willis to Trey Lance--what makes Lance worth the #3 overall pick and Willis a second rounder?

Compare Corral with Fields--is Fields really that much better, considering the weapons he had at Ohio State?

What makes these three (this year) not first rounders and everyone was screaming "Best QB class ever" just last year?

Fyi People are joining the walker #1 hype, hes nuclear hot right now. My hardest read is Hamilton, best overall player on a many boards, but plays S. I go back and forth daily about him going top 3 then wake up clear mind with him closer to 10. I like your panther trade and i 100% think philly and carolina have already talked about that same trade. Its one of those win-win-wins and makes too much sense. My issue is I see finesser trading BACK again using one of the picks. Dang Im a davis simp, i can not be trusted.

Another deal I see but super unlikely is this- IF ifififififi panthers want to stay right were they are. But giants have only 2 players in mind and dead set on them. I can see where the giants toss the panthers a 3rd or 4th or ____ in order to pick 6th. just a thought, they could even tell the panthers- "look we want Thibodeaux and we going Ekwonu if hes there at 5. send 4th and 6th in order to pull it off. Of course dont say the players names until draft time on giants side. Panthers could want NOTHING with Thib and Neal could still be there. .4818%.....

I love Walker--and I see it.  If he goes #1, then Hutchinson at #2...Neal could fall to us---but I am guessing the Jets would take him at #4 and spend the rest of the draft on defense.

Some of the next year folks just have a QB they are in love with and won't let it go. Everyone has some form of bias in these QB draft discussions it's the same thing every year. But it's funny to watch those with the loudest takes flail about like no one can see it and their opinion is so highly regarded. There will be busts this year there will be busts next year. Take your shot and move on.

This ain't true at all, people are actually looking at talent level and productivity in college and aren't impressed by the QBs this year.

Lotta people are actually fans of this team and wanna win a ring and don't think in the modern NFL you can settle for less than talent like the QBs in this draft. If you wanna get deep in the playoffs currently you need a QB at LEAST as good as Matt Stafford and the QBs next year are closer to that than thrse dudes who are all solid 2nd round picks. If you need draft sites and current trends to tell you what QBs are good, just say so, don't be bitter that people just aren't that into Malik Willis and Kenny fuging Pickett, I promise they aren't worth it.

    • I see Bryce's development this way: He improved when his supporting cast improved.  TMac and Dowdle saved his arse last year, but in fairness, most good QBs have good WRs and good RBs--and good OLs.   The 2025 OL underperformed, actually. They were above average, but they should have been elite if you consider the salary cap.   As soon as we signed Lewis and Hunt, I started thinking, "That's not sustainable.  With Ickey about to get paid a LT salary, Moton and Hunt grabbling $50m per season combined, and Lewis around $17m--that would be nearly $100m and the Center just walked.  Yikes.  What does that mean?  Rico walks, Mays walks, and we do not have a top 5 WR on a second contract.  We do not have an elite TE, and only 1 is on a modest second contract. And now Bryce will demand $50m for his incremental rise to mediocrity?   So when we sign Bryce, we will get weaker at other positions.  Hunt, Moton, maybe Ickey and Lewis, will all be casualties--that is the right move regardless (not sure yet about Ickey, but he was not elite) Bryce is one lucky, entitled camper.  No competition since being drafted, and he lost his job for a while to the aging clipboard holder.  Now we are bringing in UDFAs and busts to compete with him.
    • Probably not.  If we are taking a QB, it would be a prospect to replace Bryce and not a flyer type player.  I can't say for sure, but I doubt he would have cracked the top 3-4 QBs even if he were to play this coming season.
    • The Giants, Cardinals  and Dolphins should have moved on, but they didn't and ended up cutting their QB early into a monster second contract and had to eat a TON of dead cap money.
