The Big Cat didn’t say a word for 9 years…

…was there a similar level fretting and gnashing of teeth during that time?

Heck Mike Jordan’s Bobcats have posted 5 consecutive losing seasons and he hasn’t said boo (and I understand why🤦‍♂️), don’t ever hear any whining about that🧐

Seems to be a Tepper thing…🧐

Yeah don’t come out at the start of buying the franchise running your mouth and going to tailgates etc. He did all that stuff but is too embarrassed to talk or show his face. Dude just got sot somewhere and wonder how you was all wrong about Watson getting traded lol. You don’t know poo!

Yes, there actually was.

Plenty of people thought Richardson should speak, though it came to be understood that he never would.

As far as the Hornets, I'm not a basketball fan but there are some on the board who could probably answer.

So noted.

Will be interesting to see how Tepper reacts (or doesn't)...

He fired Hurney only to hand the reins over to a college coach with no NFL experience.

That doesn't show improvement.

Oh, so he didn't do what you like so he owes you an answer?

Who has the reins isn't even known really, you guys just speculated and decided that Rhule was in charge. Just like now some people have decided Rhule isn't in charge...but some people still think he is in charge. We don't know what has or hasn't changed, but looking at way they have operated this off season is promising and shows some ability to adjust thinking when something didn't work.

I'm a lot less concerned with whether he does what I want than I am over the fact that his results have consistently sucked.

In 2019, Cam got hurt.  In 2020 and 2021 CMC got hurt.

Let me make a prediction, if our #1 offensive weapon goes down in 2022, we're going to suck again.

@Panthers #ScottFitterer @DanMorganJr @SamirTSuleiman @DavidTepper5 @___KP1 IMO I believe it's being disrespectful to "Rock Hill, York County, and the people of York County," that a response hasn't been released concerning the Panthers HQ and facilities to their new proposal!

 @DavidTepper5 isn't that David Tepper.

I don't think the Panthers only even has a Twitter account.

Bear in mind that he's going to be trying to sell public funding for a new stadium in a few years as well. Keeping mistrust and resentment at a minimum between now and then would probably be a good idea.

Unless its a public referendum (and I can’t immediately think of one that was in cases like this), he’ll get his stadium.  Billionaires EASILY know how to “speak” to politicians for their support.

And you know how “the public” will punish those politicians?  By re-electing them.

Rinse-repeat anywhere in this country.

Citizens these days are fundamentally stupid.

Hey man, I get it. He painted a pretty picture. But the harsh reality is, he's back pedaling now. Trying to save face.

Nope.

Back-pedaling is another form of being vocal (just “taking back” what you previously said or did).

He isn’t back-pedaling… he’s IGNORING.

Back-pedaling can at times be observed as an admission of error and self-correction.

Ignoring? That’s just a sign of disrespect.

    • That argument could be used for actual trolls. “If you don’t like it find somewhere else to post” is just silly. Some of us are just letting you know, you are sounding like a broken record on these threads. It’s just some constructive criticism. You don’t have to change your ways. I doubt you will. Just wanted to make sure you were aware. Feel free to deflect and use one of those GIFs again.
    • It went from he has to jump to he has to bend his hips. That’s changing it. I showed you clips of him throwing deep without jumping which means he doesn’t always have to. I liked and like Stroud better so I’m not really a Bryce defender. Just think you don’t have to make up things when critiquing our QB like he has to jump to throw it deep. There is plenty of ammo there without those exaggerations. Oh yeah the “you don’t know ball” argument. Classic.
    • I get the rookie QB formula and fully expected to see it implemented. Oh well. For the run game there was no or very little under center stuff until a good ways into the year. At least that is how I am remembering it. And no deep throwing - so stacked boxes which you can say chicken or egg on why.  Hard to run like that.  The QB that people said was so great was pulled for a designated Hail Mary thrower. That’s pretty unusual. And may speak to why we saw few deep balls in some part, along with the OL. To ignore that stuff means you aren’t working with all of the information when you try to mentally model or project what it might be like on the field.  Me, I have a slice of hope that he could maybe be NFL average but getting him to be a plus type of QB is a huge job. It depends on designing the playbook with certain values at the foundation that have to be adhered to first . You have to integrate the other pieces around this one guy’s skill set because he is a real outlier. And he has to learn the under center skill set. Maybe put that Only Positive thread back up people can go there if they don’t want to deal with rightly frustrated fans.
