Yeah nobody is going to give up draft capital to move up for a DE. At least nothing comparable to a QB, this dude says some dumb poo.

If you think Scott Fitterer emphatically nodding after looking at Kenny Pickett’s hands is going to boost his draft stock above Keyvon Thibodeaux’s then I don’t know what to tell you.

Hell no one on this board trusts Rhule’s talent evaluation, what makes you think any legitimate scouts or GMs would?

Its not a slam dunk 100% guarantee that will be high enough in next years draft order for a QB! The Dolphins tanked in 2019 to get the number 1 pick for the 2020 draft and it didnt work out!

Yeah, we'll have to trade up. Just like we were going to do for Watson. We'll have the OLine, the WRs, the D. So we'll mortage future picks for THE QB next season ... as opposed to panicking and settling for QB scraps this season. We can stomach another losing season. It's what we do. But Willis, Corral, Pickett? Yeah, man ... they ain't it.

And who is this mystery sure thing top pick next year? The OSU QB? The undersized Alabama QB?

There’s at least 5 in contention for the top tier.  Maybe more.  More options then this dogshit of a class

So there is no top overall pick we are striving to get at 1 in which you guaranteed we would finish last? We get it you are down on this class, but next year’s is far from a guarantee to be great.

    • Yeah, I hope you are right too. Would love nothing more than to be wrong. I think if you look at the past decade or so of drafting and free agency, the Texans have done significantly better. Doesn't mean they are significantly better as a franchise necessarily but they are definitely way ahead of where we are in 2024.
    • The Necas trade is going to be interesting because of how much the Canes want back in a trade for him.
