How dangerous is Willis as a runner? What makes him special?

But who's saying he can't throw? You make it seem like he is just a guy running around without skill and can't read defenses. He at worst has general vicinity accuracy and proved to be more accurate than the others I'm a accuracy competition... not bad for a running back

Remember a few posts back when I told you I was talking about general principles and not specifically about Willis?

Howell #2 on the list and practically never ran prior to this year. 😂

Howell had 1,009 rushing yards, not sure where this guy got his numbers from.  That would put Howell way down this list

Yeah, that makes more sense because he had over 800 yards this year and like I said he practically never ran as a freshman or sophomore. He was specifically told NOT to run because they didn't have a viable backup QB.

Yeah - that being said I really like Howell.  Imagine if he would have been turned loose the prior two years.  He’s be close to Willis

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
