Most will not be upset about winning, despite what you think.

I think most are also smart enough to see through what he is. It really didn't tale long to see it. But, I am sure "head in the sand" is nice.

You know we can add 1 healthy guy that is here and we probably win games.  This team wins with a healthy CMC.  Big if, but it is a fact

Well we largely haven't, given that we are 27-31 in games he plays in his career.

That's basically the issue with RB's in general in the modern era of the NFL. They can help you win but they very rarely win on their own.

I am glass half full…I will just believe we are getting better albeit slowly and see how things go.  No sky is falling here

I hoping for the combination of more experienced play caller,  better Oline, and some health luck with CMC will Atleast make the offense look better..

From what I've seen this place has always been a whining forum.

When we're losing, sure.

But the leadership of this team has made everything worse and it's really taking a toll on a lot of us. I can't remember a time that so many fans were so disillusioned by this team. This is by far the worst funk I've seen here since I joined in '05 (or was it '04?).

The leadership has absolutely changed completely from last season.  We are writing them off before they ever get a shot?  Changes have been implemented.

I don't share that view largely due to the people in charge(Tepper/Rhule) being so obviously out of their depth.

Then you consider how poorly the last two offseasons have gone(and sadly looking like a third is likely), I am not buying the "improvements."

I definitely hope I am wrong about the latter part because if I am not, this current rebuild is gonna look like child's play.

I don't think you are understanding what we mean by leadership. Rhule is reportedly notorious for micromanaging, so changing some parts underneath him aren't likely to have a big impact. He is still the guy calling the shots on personnel and schemes. He still dictates that.

That is what we mean by leadership. The guy who we literally signed a contract that said he is basically in charge of all of it.

Until that changes, and we won't know that immediately, then why would it matter what random assortment of people are underneath him? How are those guys supposed to move the needle?

I don't trust the leadership of this team. Why would I? I haven't seen any positive results. Won't know if those hires are good until we see results.

And even then, this is stil clueless Rhule's team.

That is a tall order without a competent QB(much less HC). Sadly the better OL is not guaranteed yet. We hope that is the case.

I will say there will be no excuse for the offense NOT looking better. None.

Joe Brady for McAdoo is a big upgrade IMO.  Brady was ridiculous.  Rhule said we were going to rush the ball more and Brady just throws it constantly.  Guess what he fired his ass.  Not like Rhule is sitting around doing nothing

I want to believe that but we don't know that. This board jerked off all over having a genius like Brady on board. Even into the 2021 season.

It's not like McAdoo was a guy that teams were pining after. He was basically just a consultant because of how poor his last stint was in the NFL. So, I am not gonna rejoice on this guy until it shows consistent and at least AVERAGE results on the field. I have EXTREMELY low expectations, so he shouldn't be able to perform worse than those.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
