So Robbie in 19, and 20 had almost 2000 receiving yards combined if not just over that (from memory).

Yet with a bad QB, and OL you want to hold a down season strictly against him...

Some of y'all weird af.

Let Terrace Marshall Jr prove why we drafted him in the second round. Robbie can ride off into the sunset with his bestie.

Bakers deep ball is pretty damn accurate, he has one of the strongest arms in the game.  Robby could feast with Baker.  Hopefully they'll iron it out and the latest signs are that they will.

Robbie has talent but if the ceiling of that talent were as high as some think (like the guy who mentioned he had almost 2k yards receiving once) there would be a trade market for him and we would have already moved him. Look at what teams have given up for other receivers in trades and salary. And if anyone thinks the team put him up to this acting like a fool groveling over Sam Darnold all I can do is laugh.

I don't have an issue with Robbie sticking up for Darnold. They've played a lot of football together and spent a lot of time in the same locker room. It'd be pretty shitty of Robbie to bash Darnold IMO.

Worst team in the league with two of the worst starters at their positions patting each other on the back. Now that sounds like the new Browns.

Yeah, I mean they are still human beings. Robby might have a completely different things to say about Darnold privately to his friends but you kind of have to be a real POS to just trash a teammate publicly.

It's a no win situation. If he bashed Darnold then everyone would call him a bad teammate and point out how terrible he was himself last year. And everyone would be right.

The no win situation began thanks to Matt Rhule choosing to start the foundation of his roster with two players the Jets discarded. The same franchise that has 1 winning season in the last 11 years.

Throw in signing Cam Erving and Elflein on day 1 of FA, hand all that over to a college passing game coordinator and that's a recipe for failure

I pied this post even though I fall into the “weird Af” category.  I agree he had a down year and really hope he turns it around this year.  I think the big problem with the ridicule is he makes himself an easy target.  If you are going to drop as many balls as he did you probably shouldn’t be posting nonsensical look at me posts without expecting the consequences.

I don’t hate Robbie, I just wish he would catch more and post less.

All we need to do is switch out HC's every couple of years.

Everyone might want a Pete Carroll/Mike Tomlin/John Harbaugh but you can't keep your Hue Jackson/Matt Patricia/Urban Meyers hoping they will become one.

That's the problem with Rhule. He's on the Jackson/Patricia/Meyer end of the scale, not the Carroll/Tomlin/Harbaugh end of the scale.

Unfortunately we don't have leadership capable of seeing that yet. The best we can hope for is that Tepper isn't as dumb as he has been so far and he really is learning from his never ending stream of mistakes.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
