This is such a horeshyt take. There have been plenty of Avg Quarterbacks that have won a Bowl. Foles, Dilfer, Flacco just to name a few. If you put Cousins on any of those Ravens teams they are still winning the championship.

The Ravens defense led Trent Dilfer to a Super Bowl ring.  However, that wasn't the case for Joe Flacco.  Joe actually had one of the best postseason runs in history.  And he needed it because the defense wasn't what it used to be.  He had to win some shootouts.  The same holds true for Nick Foles.  He went on a very good run in the postseason.  He wasn't in a sidecar like Dilfer.

Sam Darnold and Kirk Cousins super fan. You've got some bizarre taste.

To put it in stock market terms, his P/E ratio has him overvalued.

That's because he was a real free agent and the team that scooped him up thought he was the missing puzzle piece to a Super Bowl (they made the championship game with Case Keenum).

So he's mad that we solved Cleveland's problem instead of the Vikings' problem.

But he also says Cousins isn't the problem, in fact he's a 'cut above' Mayfield (who ranked higher than Cousins in 2018 and 2020). Why would you be offended that a team wouldn't want to trade picks away for Cousins and his $45M cap hit?

Diggs regularly voiced frustration about the direction of the Vikings and his role on the team, and his seemingly negative tweet after Minnesota extended Kirk Cousins in March preceded his trade to Buffalo that night. Diggs tweeted "it's time for a new beginning" after the team announced the Cousins deal.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
