Give me three players that impressed you on Saturday

Baker - he arrived late this off season and yet still looked like a starting QB for us. Plus, it was a relief to see a Panthers QB actually throw deep again.

Barno - guy seemed to consistently be around the ball. Excited for his potential.

Higgins - I legitimately think at this point that he is better than RA.

I honestly wouldn't mind a rewatch but

- Brady Christensen (I am so fuging mad Matt Rhule refused to play him last year at either LT or LG and instead had him trying backup RT for the whole year)

- Shi Smith. Guy is just a playmaker

- Brandon Smith, saw a couple great plays and a couple where he seemed to be a rookie. Regardless I was not expecting much from him so it was a pleasant surprise

I think the biggest thing that stuck out to me was that Baker is, at minimum, a competent quarterback. Idk if he will ever win a superbowl, but I haven't see a QB that is competent since Cam got hurt

Higgins looks like a lock to make the 53 man roster. If he doesn't some team would sign him guaranteed. With all the depth at WR someone may get cut that will end up being a mistake. If it was up to me Robbie Anderson would've been traded back when he said that he wanted to be traded instead of be extended. That extention didn't make much sense. Does he really want to be in Carolina? I don't think so.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
