Mayfield comment on the Browns game

Also remembering when Delhomme took a cheap shot from Lance Briggs, then got up and walked off the field pounding his chest and saying something along the lines of "It's gonna take more than that, motherf---er!" 😳

Mayfield reminds me a lot of Delhomme. He's more athletically gifted and talented, and Delhomme was more...diplomatic (off the field, anyway) but there are definitely some similarities in their personas and playing styles.

Self aware of what? What changes a extra late hit lol flag possible ejection. CMC not gonna be cmc bc of his Bakers feelings? Is DJ not gonna get busy as usual what about Burns Chinn and Luvu I bet they still bring the wood. Nothing changed or changes based off a bitter player looking to get back at a team he felt did him dirty recently. Those words won’t help Myles garret beat or get blocked by Ivky or Moton those worlds won’t mean a dam thing when the bullets are flying so let’s be more realistic in our point of view.

And those words will not help him f**k Cleveland up. Talk is cheap. Running ones mouth does not make them Steve Smith.

Everyone knows what he wants to do after how things went down in Cleveland. Meh, whatever he is on the spot now lol but I applaud you walking head first into pre first season game hype.

You ain't wrong tho. There is over-hype in the air again. If the Browns use this as the fire that takes away a game the Panthers desperately need to win then it's going to get really interesting in Pantherland.

All I can say is that he better light it up or he's going to look really dumb now.

This is not news. Everyone knows that’s what he’s thinking.

i'm sure that's been the sentiment ever since word broke that they were interested in the first place.

just because you are a "professional" doesn't mean you don't know when you've been screwed by someone else and that you are devoid of any feelings about it. i've never understood why you have to pretend like it's not a big deal. you can express those thoughts and still stay under control not coming across like a raving lunatic...and then come in and tear them apart.

    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
