It's really probably Stroud or Young right now and that's it.  If Fitterer hangs around he may still prescribe to the build the team and just eventually drop a QB into it anyway (he's said as much before).

Too many turnovers from Levis reminds me of Darnold so I'd be waiting late into Day 2 not the early to mid Rd 1 he's currently talked about. He an older prospect as well.

McCall's offensive scheme makes it almost impossible to judge him.  That's similar to Corral so I'd take Corral's arm talent.  Could think to grab McCall on Day 3 if he comes out but he's being talked about as an early Rd 2 guy currently.

Richardson might have tools but no liking his play so far or the supposed mid to late Rd 1 he's being talked about as.

Haven't watch the Arkansas or Wash St QBs.  Haven't watched Van Dyke closely either but he almost lost his starting job.

I like what I've seen so far from Hall and Penix but are both older prospects.  Someone needs to talk to BYU's QB coach btw.

Hooker is older too and runs a weird offense.  McKee has an arm but cant move, not something that's successful in today's NFL.

Maybe the Fresno St QB as they have fallen off the cliff without him, but might not see him again this season.

Levis is playing for Kentucky against greater SEC opponents most nights.  Darnold was playing for USC against equal or lesser PAC 12 defenses.  There is a BIG difference, not to mention Levis looks to be a natural leader vs Sam's laid back personality.  Levis gets upset when mistakes happen, Darnold either shrugs it off or cries a little.

Agree with the McCall's offense, but it's hard to deny how accurate he is with the ball and he is a tough competitor.

You should check out Cameron Ward at WSU.  It is an air raid offense, but a lot of NFL offenses are ran similar in today's NFL.

Just curious, what's wrong with Penix and Hall being older if they are good prospects?  I think Levis is older as well, but so was Burrow.

Not always, but typically it means you're grown into who you're going to be. If you see a 21 or 22 yo there's this idea that they can still develop both physically, mentally and maybe mechanically. A 25 yo is pretty much what you see is what you get. I think that's why there's a trend of younger for 1st round picks. These COVID years kinda make it a little weird lately though.

My thinking with an older prospect is not that there is necessarily something wrong, it's just I wouldn't expect anything more than what I see now.

Man I like Hendon Hooker

He does everything well, but isn’t elite at anything IMO. He also runs a fast pace spread offense so it’s hard to see how it translate into the NFL. I’ve always seen him as a great backup to average starter kind of QB. Maybe an early third to late second round pick?

No I know and I agree

But having a Kenny Pickett type with Hooker’s athleticism/ ability to run… that’s a QB you can win with imo. Throw in the fact he’d be on a rookie deal and you have a well rounded, cheap QB for 5 years right from the jump

He is a smart QB too. I just wouldn’t take him in the top 10 which is where we will be picking. Trade down and I wouldn’t be against it.

Who do you like at number 1?

Stroud for me right now but that could definitely change by draft time.  How bout u?

I still really like Young and I think a few teams might regret passing on him
