4-11 for 32 yards a total of 70 and the half is almost here? I'd say it looks equally inept at the moment.

Mariota is playing better than the stat line looks. Dude is running for his life from the moment of the snap nearly every play. A lot of the misses have been very near misses. Every QB in the league is struggling dealing with what he's dealt with today.

No doubt but crap results are crap results... I've never been one to care as long as the end result is points/goals ect on the board.

Yeah, I don't care as long as it's effective but I'm just saying watching this game I can't imagine any QB having success for the Falcons this afternoon.

The way Wilson looks this year away from Seattle and Pete Carroll paired with how Geno looks this year playing in Seattle with Pete Carroll certainly brings up some real questions.

I cant say I ever imagined Geno Smith being even serviceable..... Wilson he looks like a guy who got paid even if he hasn't lost his wheels he doesn't seem to be willing to use them anymore.

Watching that awful Thursday night game, Russell Wilson looked absolutely indistinguishable from the Panthers' version of Baker Mayfield. They're the same guy. And the Broncos traded a kings ransom and then paid him $200M+. 😂

Hes looked that way all season, don't forget they also gave up their 1st and 2nd rounders the next two season plus a 4th this year and a 5th in 2024 in addition to Lock,Fant and Harris..... Seattle Mauled them.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
