McCall Should’ve Gotten a Jersey on Sunday

This dude busted his ass in the preseason, played with fire, and is a load at 6’3” 345 lbs. We could have used him this past Sunday.

Was just thinking when I saw Gantt's mailbag article about playing Anderson more, that McCall could be exactly what we need.  A big man with some push who can eat up a lot of space.  I think he needs to be active and playing Sunday.

based on what we heard from Rhule, Hoskins would be the one who gets deactivated. Hoskins lined up in the wrong place on a couple of plays including the Hunt TD run.

It's a nice thought and we sure could've used his big ass in there, but unless it's just for him to line up and push the guy in front him into the qb I doubt he knows more than that at this point into it the season. His was a 4th stringer in camp for heaven sake.

Or you know, sign an actual DT who knows the NFL and can help stop the run. There are at least 5+ guys on their couches right now that would be immediate upgrades to our interior line.

This!!!! 

Same thing last year with OT ...I remember it was about three who were unmistakable upgrades to Erving ... and atleast a 6 upgrades for Jordan at Guard but we ig'd it off. 

If im Fitterer, I'm looking HARD at DT, DE, and MLB. We all know this wont happen ofcourse

Suh, Richardson, Jackson, Star, Williams, Joseph. There were a ton more if we would have been proactive in actually signing some depth at the position before the season started.

If something happens to Brown or Ioannidis we are beyond screwed. Bravvion Roy is our most experienced backup FFS.

Our depth at the position consists of a 6th rounder with about 2 season worth of experience, a 7th rounder who's played in 3 total NFL games and a rookie undrafted free agent. 

Idc if they are washed. They have NFL experience and are not still trying to learn and adjust to the NFL. We have the most inexperienced DT depth in the league.

Put his big ass beside Brown is the best thing to do. Both of them together should add up to a lot beef clogging up the middle.  I would hate to just use only one or the other honestly.
