At what point does Fitterer start taking heat too?

When we get a coach that knows wtf he is doing and still can't win...  which will be quite awhile.

Fitt can't be held accountable for this poo.  He has tried to accommodate Fhule, as was apparently directed by Tepper, because when he came in, Fhule was already here and was the final word on everything football ops.  I think that's started to shift, but we still can't judge anything until we have an actual professional-level coach in here.

What position group is a strength right now?

No group other than RB is a strength right now. But is that because of Fitts or is that sheer incompetence by Rhule and company. This whole oline competition was a farce that wasted valuable time. Chinn was DROY runner up, and he's been made impotent playing him at FS. Baker? What choice did we have? The CFL  qb Rhule refuses to cut? The list is long of Rhule's dumb ass moves that have led to this losing situation. I wouldn't trust Matt Rhule to pick up a gallon of milk from the grocery store at this point. What has he done to prove he's an even mildly competent head coach and capable of making the most basic of correct decisions?

Especially when he doesn't even have roster control.

Did he know that Rhule had full roster control when he accepted his current position?

Yes?

And, after accepting his current position and knowingly agreeing to Rhule's control over the roster, is he accepting those sweet, sweet Tepper paychecks?

Yes?

Then he is responsible as well.

Fitterer will start taking heat when Rhule is gone. He's subordinate to Rhule. That's why he doesn't get as much heat.

It's hard to tell where the line is between the GM and the HC in this organization, and that is all on Tepper.

At least on paper, Rhule makes the personnel decisions.  I think there are a couple we can say were mostly Fitterer because of the way Rhule (mis)handled them once they were on the team.  But lacking that, we have to assume Rhule is the guy in charge of this circus.

Strange how our structure looks like what you would find in a college athletic department.

Hiding behind rhule is not an excuse.   He hasn’t done jack poo since he got here.   I wish someone would post a good move he has made.  Just one.

Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
