He's also had Brady.

Neither Leftwich nor Moore interests me yet.

Leftwhich I could see being a better HC than OC.

I just don't want a retred or a Wilks type who is a coordinator for a year and becomes a 'hot name'.

My preferred candidates would be guys like like Rich Bisaccia or Don Martindale, but I know how the league’s trending these days.

If we’re going by connections though, I’d think Ken Dorsey.

Dorsey needs more time. If he can do a good job at OC for a couple of years ok. Feels like a Wilks type hire to me if they went for him this offseason. Im still skeptical of him being a product of the people and team around him at this point.

Byron Leftwich has only been coaching since 2016.

He has less coaching experience than every potential candidate except Kellen Moore.

I just am a Leftwich fan. Ever since College, when his teammates had to carry him down the field with a broken ankle to win the game. How can you not root for him!

I am too, but I don’t think he’s ready to be a head coach.

Definitely don’t think Kellen Moore is.

I agree, not sure if he’s ready or not. I do think he is an authentic strong natural leader, former player etc. So he has a lot going for him. But it is a big step.
