It sucks Corral will never get his shot this year

My bad guys, Operation Golden Corral was intense but a necessary exercise.

If you want to judge this kid honestly a Rhule "camp" isn't the proper venue to do so. Rational folk would know that from our history with Mr Rhule.

Corral should be judged by his prior body of work which was impressive and not easily duplicated by a "third round pick".

The "third round pick" mantra belongs to Matt Corrals doubters. What is true was Corral was invited to be present AT the draft, day one BECAUSE he had been identified as a day one pick. No "third round picks were invited" HE was.

We got lucky, he's everything you want in your QB if you even bother to look back at his career in the SEC at Ole Miss.

The only thing that will stop this kid isn't lack of skill, accuracy, or heart, it's strengthening, its bulking up to dominate at this next level. He's well on the way adding lbs, muscle as we speak.

The young lions do lack and suffer hunger but they shall not be broken again and they that hate a righteous Panther shall be desolate.

I watched him play at Ole Miss.  there is no question in my mind, he has the talent.  I recommended him earlier this year.

that being said, I have seen talented QBs enter the NFL, with the wrong mental attitude.  Remember Chad Kelly?

hopefully his pre season was a, “Wake up call”.  I still think he has potential, if he gets his mental problems worked out.

Baker and Kyler both won at the college level. Even dominated. Just goes to show how hard it is to be a NFL QB.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
