I imagine it'll be like last time where Fitt is involved at every step but Tepper makes the final decision.  Ideally I dont have to hear about them visiting some coach and falling in love with him while sitting at his dinner table this time.

Let's be clear. Fitterer and Morgan will submit their choice for coach to Tepper for his final approval. I'd expect Tepper to 'voir dire' the potential coach and either give his thumbs up or down. Doesn't mean Tepper is going to interview all of them, just the one(s) that Fitterer puts before him.

Not really. He's just acknowledging Tepper making final decisions. That doesn't say anything about his status at all.

He also talked several times about planning for the team's future, which would indicate he's firmly involved in that.

If it makes fans feel better most new owners do not hit on their first hiring. 
I am willing to be patient with Tepper and hope Rhule was just an honest mistake for a first time owner.
