What good is another defense edge rusher when the offense can’t do anything because we have no QB.

If we do miss out on the top QB we're looking for, I want us to trade back and recoup something similar to the Browns in the Julio Jones draft night trade....

Falcons received:

• 2011 - Pick 6 and selected Julio Jones

Browns Received:

• 2011 - 1st (#27), 2nd, and 4th rd picks 
• 2012 - 1st and 4th rd picks

 

Not only would we have an influx of more young talent on cheap contracts, but we'd have draft capital to move up for Drake Maye or Caleb Williams the following year.

ETA: I think Bryce Young could potentially drop out of the top 5 anyway. After everyone freaks out over his measurables at the combine.

We went from this being a deep QB class to panicking about tanking for the 1st overall pick and people can't even agree on who is the consensus #1 QB. Take away the schools and media hype and Hendon Hooker looks like the most NFL guy to me

If need be we have to trade up. But there's still a long way to go before the draft order is settled.

Huh? Where did I mention either of them? We need a QB. DL is a far, far second need.

So you’d wanna severely reach on the third best available? I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a trade down (say Philly wants to throw both of their picks at us for Will Anderson, I’d be game), but in THAT spot , ya can’t take Levis or Hooker.
