I know just joking

In all honesty, my opinion on the upcoming QB class... is not close to complete. I am trying to get hyped about the options and each one has glaring weaknesses. I am not even trying to find the perfect QB, just someone who could compete. I think at this point im down to Richardson and Young. I think bowl season is going to create the clearest picture.

Yeah I'm down to Young as a starter, Richardson as a project, and then a handful of guys I might take gamble on day 2 or 3 depending how it shakes out. That would pretty much be Hooker/Ward/Mccall/Penix in no particular current order

You think we missed out on the amazing player he could have become after the phenomenal coaching he'd have gotten from Matt Rhule, Joe Brady and Ben McAdoo? 😕

He’s developed despite Nagy. I think the drive and work ethic with him would have outweighed the stupidity.

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
