The line played like trash and his WR's were running weird long go routes so I don't know what else he could do on those OT plays. They didn't give him a check down option all game long, weird

There isn't a comparison at all.   

Willis is playing with the best offensive line that Tennessee can muster. 

Corral was playing behind an offensive line that are currently waiting to see if they can make an XFL roster, at best. 

Willis got nearly all the reps with the starting lineup.

Corral got 5 minutes' worth of Reps at the end of practice. Which equates to about 3 or 4 plays.

Please stop with the Corral is worse because you don't have a clue how good or bad, he can be.  Nor do I for that matter. For you to say you know factually that he's bad is just plain dislike for the guy.  Most likely you wanted someone else and therefore, bashing him justifies your unbelievable analysis of his performance.

Why, he was drafted to play QB.  He's had several months to work on his game.   It was said before he was every drafted.  His use of his legs is what made him special.  If you are too scared to pull the trigger, IDGAF how great of an arm you have, you're a failure in this league.

Willis is scared and he's had reps with the starting unit.  It's one thing if he threw the ball to a wide receiver and it got intercepted.   The last two plays Willis had several seconds to do something and he froze.  Completely froze.  

Corral didn't get one rep with the starting unit.

With Willis you can clearly see the physical tools are there, he's just not ready. Corral looked like a HS QB out there in preseason.

To be fair, Corral was also working with a bottom 5 OC. We have to at least consider that in the equation.

Corral didn’t get one rep with the starting unit, that’s correct, he also played (and struggled against) guys who are now bagging groceries.

Willis gave Titans fans hope in the preseason and he’s now playing with a ragtag group of pass protectors that includes at the very minimum, one Panthers cast off (Dennis Daley). I’d also bet you that you can’t even name two of the wide receivers he was throwing to last night without looking up the Titans roster on Google.

Yes, Willis has had reps with the starting unit for the Titans, he’s also going against the likes of Chris Jones now.

As for the last couple of plays, where exactly did you want him to go with the ball? The replays clearly showed that there was nowhere to go with the ball, the broadcasting crew stated as much.

You’re right, the situations are different. Willis looked bad against actual NFL players and Corral looked bad against guys from your local community college.

      Hello there.  We are rolling out a complete overhaul of the Huddle. Why: Frankly this site is so old the database and antiquated software has gotten unmanageable. There is not much we can do to fix anything anymore. The new site is wired for the future including getting back in the app stores.    When:  Hopefully by early July so that we can test and recover things. After the migrations we will still have access to the old site behind the scenes to bring over anything we missed.    Wait, will I lose anything?  We are only bringing over topics and posts from the past calendar year. The tinderbox is being set on fire and rolled off a cliff. All it ever did was made this place feel horrible all while changing approximately 0 minds in 20 years.  The new site will only have 4 forums to keep this joint Carolina team sports focused. Panthers, Hornets, Charlotte FC, Hurricanes.    Improved Moderation  This is a clean slate for us, as such if you are a problematic member (you know who you are) that enjoys getting banned and coming back, we aim to make it much more difficult for you. However, upon the move your slate is clean. Take advantage of it.  We would love to get this place back to what it used to be. Nice folks with friendly banter centered around Carolina sports. We will be using the BAN HAMMER liberally to rid this place of people who aren't interested in that or try to drag the new site back into the gutter.   New Features With new tech comes new features we will be rolling out over the rest of the year.    What about the damn ads?  Fewer and less problematic ads.
