I think Levi's will be wherever in the top 18 we land, even with this win, the match ups taking place this week could have us at pick 2 again regardless.

I do? My favorite QB growing up was Roger Staubach. Can you imagine what he could have done if hadn't had to go to Vietnam?

But, you know the old saying,

Lamar Jackson, Mahomes, Herbert, and many others were not top 5 picks 

i refuse to want my team to look like a piece of poo as they did against the Bengals to chase a phantom QB before it is known who will be the coach, what system will be run etc.

nor do I see nfl coaches and players who give up their lives and their bodies during the season ‘tanking’
 

any professional, in any field, would never do that 

if the Panthers  see someone they want and just have to have, trade up and get them  it’s that simple.

Varking, who follows the kid, says the coaching staff loves him, great leader etc.  I think he shoots up boards once the underwear Olympics and interviews start.

While this might be true.. I'd be terrified to take a chance on him in the first.  Especially if I was a GM with my job depending on it.

Actually that probably buys a gm time knowing he has to be developed and if the staff can mold him into a starter he is set for life
