McDermott went to the playoffs his first year as HC.  Wilks took an 8-8 team and turned them into the absolute worst team in the league.

I didn't say hire him. But he's definitely not the problem. He meddles in defense and its playing well and you're not gonna find another OC in the middle of the year.

INTERIM. He hasnt had an offseason to hire a staff that he actually wants. Im not gonna throw blame on a guy thats only truly responsible for about 35% of where we're at at this point. 

That'd be like being mad at the substitute teacher that came in the last month of school but you blame her because your lazy kid did bad at math. Choosing to completely ignore that your kids overall score went up about 1 grade during that month. 

We can blame the offense till Jesus comes but again Wilks is not the problem.

Sounds like a guy who doesn't think theres anything to salvage there to me aside from your OL coach who you probably dont want calling plays for you..
