Sam Darnold had 22 more passing yards than an abysmal Russel Wilson who should be laughed out of Denver. We might beat New Orleans and Detroit that's about it IMO.

With their defense I'm not sure why they are still sicking with Wilson. That's how coaches get fired right there.

I can vision the Panthers winning a couple of more games and finishing 6-11.

I know this would be a long shot but  if QB Sam Darnold can becomes a flop that fliped and starts show casing the talent he had in college, my opinion will go out the window.

A year ago I was getting laughed at because I had Darnalds picture as my avatar. Saying how terrible he is. Now am getting laughed at because I don't believe in him and a Cinderella run. The huddle is always so fun. 🤦‍♂️

Like society itself, this place goes from one extreme to another and can do so in the span of about three hours.  Neither ever settles anywhere in the middle.

5.5 seems like a good over/under.  We have not won two games in a row all season.  We've beaten one non-NFCS team, and they are a team that can't score in a house of ill repute.  I'm less concerned about the fact we have not won a road game, but that is out there.  No matter which QB is our starting QB, they do not exactly strike fear in opposing defenses.

I can realistically see us getting to 6-11.  7-10 is about the upper limit until we shake off some of the above demons.  But this talk of running the table is just another extreme for the place to bounce off of.

Let's try winning two in a row first and see where we go from there.

If they bench the guy they gave up 2 1st's and 2 2nd's for, then gave him $125M guaranteed then the GM gets fired. Either way the team is stuck with Wilson til 2025 at the earliest from that horrible contract

Maybe I have become negative but I don't see us winning anymore. We are not the worst team in the NFL but we are not a good team either.

Sometimes you have to admit a mistake and move on. Most coaches don't get fired for making a big mistake. Most get fired from doubling down on that mistake and not changing fast enough to win. The jets benched their 1st round QB to win and it was the right move. Denver could put any QB back there and have a better manager than Wilson. Their defense would have definitely won yesterday and probably against us if they did that.

Of course it was a huge mistake but Hackett's job is to get something out of Russell Wilson.  The only other QB on the roster is Brett Rypien and he's trash.  Wilson will outlast Hackett.  I'd bet money on it.

Hate to tell him it ain't working. Watching them last week it's not the scheme it's the player. The Seahawks fleeced them good on that trade.

I agree 100%.  It’s been one of the most miserable offenses to watch in the NFL.  But the Broncos are stuck with Wilson and they will get another coach to try and get things fixed.  They really have no other choice.

I don’t think Hackett is a good coach but I also think Russell Wilson is washed up.

If Hackett is smart he will get a quality backup next year. I would definitely fire the GM for a terrible trade though. Hackett reminds me a lot of Matt Rhule. He may never see his errors and it's why he lost that team.

I don't think Hackett has any control over the roster.  He was hired to lure Aaron Rodgers via trade, but it didn't work out.  I think there's a near 0% chance he's the coach of the Broncos next season.

    • This draft is 2023 all over again, it's not hard to see. QB's who don't grade out as high first round prospects while at the same time, the following draft class looks to be loaded with elite QB prospects. Drafting a QB just because you need one (or making a bad trade to make said draft pick), when there isn't one worthy of that draft pick, is how you ruin franchises, just look at us right now.
    • I upgraded to the S24+ a few weeks back. Very happy with it.
    • LOL... Yet again proving you can't look below anything than what you see on the surface Mock drafts ARE NOT draft grades They are what people think will happen.  They are mocking teams taking QB's in the top 5 of the draft because that's just historically how drafts go regardless of the grades on the QBs.  Almost every draft expert, even those mocking QB's going high, have said time and time again that none of these QB's actually grade out as those type of picks. This is again, where I say you don't like to actually read what I have to say, because I already explained it. 2022 the exact same thing happened, mock drafts had guys like Pickett and Willis going in the Top 5 because that's just what teams usually do, but GM's listened to their prospect grades and knew they weren't worth taking that high, so they didn't. It's not to say QB's won't go that high this year, but it's to say that they aren't graded out as elite QB prospects.   And yes, I've never said I'm not a T-Mac homer. But me being that doesn't change that he will be the highest graded offensive player in this year's draft, at a position we haven't been able to solve since we lost Smitty.  Taking him makes all the sense in the world, my bias aside.
