I claimed that Burns had a slow day because no matter where he went there always seemed to be a TE to greet him. 

 

1 guy says that the Hawks play 2 TE a lot, so there was almost always going to be a TE across from Burns. Another guy says that Burns was across from Cross 70% of the time. 

 

Just one of those things that make you go hmmm?

I just pay attention to things and I remember them correctly. You can’t remember what team had a 2000 yard back or what year a player joined a team or even what their names were and you give me crap because I actually watched the game and listened to the announcers talk about the Seahawks offensive sets? You act like you are a better football fan than draft nerds and you don’t know poo or watch the game. 😂  Why do you even try to impart you vast knowledge on anyone?

All I said was the Burns seemed to have a TE across from him everywhere he went. And it has turned into this. 

 

It sure seems like ppl don't just want to tell you when you are wrong. They want to beat you over the head with it as well.

 

Life is too much fun for this. So, I'm out. Burns was made to have a bad day. Damm happy we won.

They did run many 2 TE formations. Just rarely on Burns side. So we can BOTH be right. The only fiction here is your made up story about Burns facing TEs all day long. 
 

   And someone with your history of trashing anyone outside the “echo chamber of optimism” should not act like pointing out you’re wrong…again…isn’t anything more than payback. And then the usual retreat. What’s your new alt going to be?

Yep. Along with your telling people that you were a better fan and more knowledgeable while being completely wrong. We can still go to the tape if you like. It was a made up lie and you got called on it. Sorry about your damn luck.

burns is allowed to have an "off/bad" game.....

 

not going to lie, i sure yelled at the TV about SOMEONE getting pressure on fuging geno smith........given the history.....i was expecting them to mount a comeback while begging for some sort of hurry/sack/etc...... haynes answered my call for one play, about the only one too..

      Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.

      I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
