I think bringing Carr to any team is the equivalent to, rolling the dice!  My thought is he could be, just another QB.  

Darnold seems to be doing okay.  Panthers are the team to beat in the NFC South

Carr would definitely be the quintessential roll-of-the-dice signing if the Panthers go for it.

And it's a big roll as it could handcuff the team Financially should we not roll favorably. 

Hopefully Sam proves his good steady play is sustainable going forward so that he can be some kind of Bridge QB for us while we continue to throw darts at the QB board in every draft.

This is possible.  One constant interesting rumor I keep hearing is, “Payton and Brady will go to a team.”  1st Dolphins, costing them a draft pick.  2nd, going to New Orleans.

Point is, they keep putting Payton with Brady.

Man if the Jets get a decent QB like Carr they will be tough. That roster has a lot of talent.
