I'm pretty hard on ESPN but there's some very touching stories about Hamlin in this article. Overall I've appreciated their coverage of what happened quite a bit.

" The prayers have not stopped since Hamlin collapsed on the field Monday, and they will continue in the hopes that Hamlin will be able not only to lead a normal life again but to lead one that could potentially lead him back to football if he chooses."

" But even if he never plays another down, there is no denying what he means to McKees Rocks and Pittsburgh and now Buffalo and to every life he has touched along the way."

It's been a while since news has made me feel this good.  Thanks to everyone who has been diligent about posting the updates.

Not for nothing, but I see his Toy Drive GoFundMe is now over $8M.  If you want a smile, look it up and see

$8,003,080 raised of $2,500 goal.

I wonder what his reaction would be when he finds out....

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
