Wilks Last Day

I know this was a disappointing season as every season has been under Tepper, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing to celebrate. Today will be Steve Wilks last day ruining this fenchise along with everyone from the old regime.

a young offensive mastermind is just around the corner and there is finally some hope. Will be even better if this team can lose today to strengthen their draft pick and give them a better asset to trade up to get their franchise Qb to pair with young coach.

Ron Rivera jr. Had every opportunity to win this job, but failed. He choked against Pittsburgh at home against a backup QB. He choked away a multi touchdown lead against TB for the division. Refused to make any adjustments with all pro cj Henderson on mike evans and it cost him.

first time in a long time I have some optimism about this franchise, and that is a great feeling.

Did Wilks fug your wife or something? The way you always post about him makes it seem very personal

Yup Steve Wilks banged a random message boards guys wife who lives in NJ. Nailed it, but that’s not the reason.

just never seen such a below average coach get so much support from local sports media and fan base. It’s embarrassing. Nfl should take one look at it and move us to number 1 on the list to relocate to London.

you know what the 8 out of the 12 playoff teams that have clinched a spot have in common? Offensive minded head coaches. Do you know what 12 out of 12 have in common? None of them have a coach who failed miserably at their first stop and next best job was defensive coordinator at Missouri.

How bad are you going to loose your poo when he gets interviewed and hired?

So who do you realistically bring in if not Wilks?

The overused meme is for the overused bitching in this joint. All complaints and no solutions.

Ben Johnson, Ken Dorsey, and Shane Steichen.

and before I hear, what have they proven? What has wilks proven? What did Nick Siriani prove before he was hired? How about Zach Taylor? Kyle Shanahan? Sean McVey? What was Doug Pedrrsons track record before wining a super bowl in Philly?

    • I am really sorry  that  happened to you they say to never meet your sports heroes i have friends who met  mickey mantle when they were young and he was a belligerent alcoholic at the time  ut broke their hearts  I had the opportunity to meet and spend  time with Cam Newton.     He was the polar opposite of Steve Smith and his public image.   Polite.  Honest when asked question.  You could tell the things that mattered to him and the things that  didnt. The disappointments in himself and the things that hurt him  those qualities make him quite a good interviewer too  i genuinely liked him   Im sure as young, rich, sports hero, he has not been a choir boy but there is goodness in him  the time i met him i took one of my friends with me from the west coast. She said she didn't like him and wasn’t enthusiastic about meeting him.  She left loving him   No one can say anything bad about ‘her Cam’ anymore
    • Agree about oline. They've tried their best to improve that area. But honestly, has it looked like the most expensive oline in the NFL to you? Not just with Bryce. With Dalton's one game where they almost got the old man killed.  Also YAC shouldn't always be hitting a guy in stride while he's running full speed. Pickens killed us after the catch and those weren't all hit-in-stride plays. I remember a play in Miami when a guy caught a 5 yards curl and took it like 30-40 yards to the house. We don't have that in Carolina. Horn might be the closest thing to that but he can't get significant PT for whatever reason. If Bryce keeps trusting his receivers to make plays, I think he'll become more consistent. Seemed like he only trusted TMac. And force feeding one receiver isn't sustainable. Defenses will start to blanket him and take him out of the game. And yeah, keep taking deep shots. I hate all that dink and dunk football. Hate it.
    • Dan Marino sucked too I guess. Washed up Elway carried by Terrell Davis was actually better than prine Elway. Lol
