I want to be excited about Reich, but he blew it in Indy.

Bad hire but I 100% see how him and Wilks are probably the best options right now.

Yea he also had 3 straight years of bad retread QBs.  Not sure how much of that was the GM's idea vs Reich pushing for it.  Rivers wasn't the worst idea in the world, but he thought he could fix Carson Wentz and he was wrong.  And then of course there's Matt Ryan.

The Colts never really had a dangerous offense while he was there.  They were more of a defensive team with a good running game.

“According to Zak Keefer of The Athletic, Reich apologized to Irsay after having lobbied to get the 2017 Pro Bowler with the idea he "could resurrect Wentz's stalled career and solve the Colts' quarterback conundrum."ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday the Colts are trading Wentz to the Washington Commanders.”

Just wow. That is Rhule level of ineptitude.
We’re gonna end up with Carr and his 40 million dollar cap aren’t we?

Cool

now go back the previous 2-3 seasons where they wouldn’t draft him a QB.  Instead gave him Brissett and Old Man Rivers.  Where he still had winning records and playoff appearances with.

Uh, its proven fact he was fired from those three teams and all three were wildly underperforming/bad offenses. But since you apparently don't know:

Reich fired from the Colts:

Reich fired from the Bolts:

Reich fired from the Cardinals:

Irsay is an idiot that's seriously considering hiring Saturday. He was only a WR coach with the Cardinals. And the Bolts offense got worse after he left and was already a sinking ship with McCoy leading that team. With the bolts, he was ranked 17th one year and 26th the second year as OC in his first OC job. Went to the Eagles right after as the OC and lead them to 16th and 3rd in scoring offense for his second OC job.

Like we said do homework.

What does the value of his contract have anything to do with anything?

Are you Daves accountant?

Okay slow you roll and why are you coming at me all hostile?
I saying neither Wilks nor Reich deserve big contracts and I was just stipulating what kinda contract they deserved.
The low end.

Back off.

And all 3 of them have constant rumors about them considering retirement after almost every season.

It's also pretty rare for coaches to still be doing it into their 70's as well, not to mention those are 3 coaches who have all won SB's as HC's.

Your'e really trying to compare Reich to 3 sure fire HOFers?!?!?!

C'mon now

Your argument was about age, not credentials.  These are the oldest.  showed you that the average coach in the NFL who makes the super bowl lasts 69 games--4 seasons, in other words.
And yes, 3 HOF coaches still going strong in their 60s and 70s.  That IS my point.

Pederson won a super bowl and was only fired for tanking a game

He tanked games?  First I heard that

also that Super Bowl you speak of.  You do realize who his Steichen was that year?  His hot OC?

Still his fault. But keep making excuses. It is what you Wilks and Reich fans are only good at.

I am not a Reich cheerleader but he was a position coach with the Cardinals at that time. After the stint with the Chargers (under McCoy who was an offensive guy), he went on to win a Super Bowl. Show me a position coach who hasn’t been let go as part of a staff. These are not strong arguments.

Actually, the biggest laugh I got was your suggestion that a wide receiver coach was somehow responsible for the offense. That'd  be like us holding Joe Dailey responsible for how our entire offense performed 😄

Reich was let go In Arizona because the entire staff was let go (your own link even says that). Likewise in San Diego he was part of a staff under unsuccessful head coach Mike McCoy that was overhauled as part of an effort to save McCoy's ass (which didn't work).

I already knew from previous experience that you had no idea what you were talking about anyway, so this isn't exactly a huge surprise 😆

His fault for vouching for a QB he worked with and had success with before since the front office just kept throwing him Sam Darnolds and Teddy Bridgewater.  The most dysfunctional front office in the league.  What else should he have done?

He blows so hard that he took the corpse of Phillip Rivers and made the playoffs, almost made the playoffs with Carson Wentz before he became Carson Wentz, and had the corpse of Matt Ryan at 3-3-1 before Irsay got involved.

But yea man, keep blowing smoke up your own ass, see you in a year when we're hosting a playoff game.

Are you related to Frank Reich

    • No need to explain everyone on here ‘drunk posts’ watching this team …who could blame anyone  when they were mentioned in the same breath as the Jets and Browns onward and upward as far as bryce’s little fella self, can take them
    • Sigh, we should of have kept Ashawn over this bum.
    • Well, everyone is a critic.  not much meat on the bone here in analysis but if the team needs motivation … lol   I have also heard a lot of talking head or two say that ‘Young is not in the same class as most of these teams and that in 12 of the 17 games he is the lesser QB   BR write up below  2025 record: 8-9 Last season, the Carolina Panthers made the playoffs for the first time since 2017. They won the division. Bryce Young made strides, throwing for 3,011 yards, 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions with a 63.6 percent completion rate. Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan won the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year award. In free agency, the Panthers signed edge-rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd to bolster their middling defense. Carolina can win with complementary football if the offense continues to trend in the right direction. In 2026, Carolina will play the AFC North and NFC North on a first-place schedule, which includes matchups against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, and the Seattle Seahawks. The club will have a much tougher 17-game slate than it had last year, which may lead to regression. The Panthers aren't on the same level as the league's top teams. We'll see the gap between them and division-winning clubs from the previous season. 2026 projection: 6-11
