Lamar is a great player and person and teammate.  But giving up draft picks AND guaranteeing a quarter Billion is the way to concrete over the top of our deepening grave.  We are finally on the right path of having some talent and getting a head coach to develop a QB and have a decent stockpile of draft picks.  Work with what we have and keep building.  Avoid shortcuts.

I would rather have one of the promising rookies this year on a rookie deal for the next 4 or 5 seasons than a Lamar Jackson type who is probably gonna cost 45 mil a year.

Not happening. Look at what Reich has said he wants….A QB who will win from the pocket but be able to move. That isn’t Lamar and wasn’t Cam. Stroud, Young? Yes. Lamar? No. There are two, possibly three generational QBs in this draft. Position the team to get one of them.

How many times are you going to make this thread?

Lamar isn't good enough. If he was good enough the Ravens would have locked him down already.

Yikes!

I guess winning MVP's is no longer good enough. Just like Cam he had a elite TE and not much else. Lamar was the Ravens offense.

You sure have a high bar. What is good enough for you?

Yeah keep what we have and keep building...

Where has that gotten us?

At some point people need to realize you need a franchise QB. Waiting does nothing but waste time. 3 years and people still saying wait and be patient.lol

I'm pretty sure people suggesting last year that we trade for Russell Wilson were using similar logic.

When you win MVP's this is the kind of money you get.

Not every QB is Tom Brady who had a wife who was way richer than him. Brady could afford paycuts. Other QB's not so much.

Kirk Cousins...

Reich has 0 SB's. We need a franchise QB not a QB Reich wants.
