Sooo...what would our record be if Moore started after week 1?

Got to agree with Fox007. 16 points after picking off 5 (count 'em FIVE!) passes.

Based on that, perhaps we could have beat the Bucs twice, Redskins, and perhaps the Bills.

Looking like 4-8 right now to me.

So we would have a worse record now then we did with Joke?

You act like Matt Moore calls the plays. Not like they were letting him be a goddamn gunslinger out there. We ran the ball on 3 consecutive plays countless times. Once Matt gets off his leash, then you can judge him.

Kill yourself, Joke apologist.

People who think we would have a worse record than we do now are blind Jake lovers. It's laughable. Jake was the worst starting QB in the league. How do you honestly think Moore is worse? Especially after Moore completed a deep bomb to Smith. Something Jake hasn't been able to do all season long. Moore looked calm out there, unlike Jake almost ever has. If Moore was starting after week 1, we could easily have 3 more wins right now.

7-5

Eagles - L

Falcons - L

Cowboys - L

Redskins - W

Bucs - W

Bills - W

Cardinals - W

Saints - L

Falcons - W

Dolphins - L

Jets - W

Bucs - W

Some of those games are iffy...but Jake has single-handily lost us 4 games this year. I think coaching would still cost us some of those games

    • I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?
    • LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.
    • After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
