I honestly wonder if McVay doesn’t return if they did trade the 2 1sts and this year’s 2nd. One thing a coach like McVay could hang his hat on is trying to get a Caleb Williams and if they gave us their firsts a rebuild around a rookie is kind of off the table.

Rams still have their picks minus this year’s 1st so they could keep sticking with the sign/trade guys for one more run or decide to go for rebuild.

I knew it was going to get strange when McVay did return yet still told his staff they were free to seek other opportunities.

The Bucs and Rams went for broke to win Lombardi Trophies.  It will be curious to see how long it takes these teams to bounce back from their Super Bowl hangovers.

Stephen A Smith just said on First Take Lamar Jackson camp reached out to him and said he never asked for a fully guaranteed contract.

 

Seems like he just wants more guaranteed money but not the full contract guaranteed.

 

Maybe he just wants out of Baltimore?

Ravens offered Lamar 133 mil guaranteed and they wonder why he is trying to get out of Baltimore. They didn't even use the extra money to put weapons around him. 

 

Lamar is going to be a steal for whoever trades for him.

Daniel Jones is a marginal starter/good backup level QB. In retrospect, the Giants really screwed up not picking up his 5th year option because now they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. Grossly overpay a marginal QB or... or what?

Ultimately, I think he's franchised. But if I was them I'd probably punt his ass and go get Carr.
