exactly anyone who has winning as a priority isn’t going to come here vs . Minny lol

going to be hard to attract the best, there is really nothing going for the Panthers except a shitty division.

Dumb as rocks owner, fuged cap, HC is ‘ok’, a GM Rhule hired…

oh and it’s warm in Charlotte…that’s good I guess.

just one more reason to draft that elite talent QB.

amy poehler deal with it GIF

We will pay him to come here and even though the Vikings had a better record last year our defense would be better to leave a mark on and be able to get a HC gig from in the future. I think he’s a lock to be announced DC in the next few days.

Called it!

Not really. I didn’t make a prediction. I essentially said coaches aren’t looking at Carolina as a place to get a ring. And there isn’t much…or really anything going for the franchise. Hence he took the bag…he did it for money. Or another reason.

Can you logical explain (with examples or even trends and not unknowns) why in the world with a coach with options would say Carolina is close to a ring and that’s what they want to be a part of?

You people think this team has something going for it before it actually does. It doesn’t. When it does, we will know.

Seriously.

When the two teams of interest to be DC of are the Vikings (31st ranked defense in NFL, -3 point differential, being the worst of a 13 win team in NFL history) vs the Panthers, logic bodes that he'd rather go to the defense that isn't going through a multi year rebuild.

I'm sure money also was a factor, but to act like it's the primary is silly. From an objective viewpoint there is far more potential for him to succeed in Carolina vs Minnesota aa DC.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
