If Will Anderson goes 2 then Levis at 3

itll get interesting, because I’ve been hearing for a bit that the Colts are Really high on Richardson.

Stroud could see a Fields like Situation and fall to the 4th QB off the board.

If Stroud is there at 9.  I know some in this fan base will have a complete melt down.

If he is there at 9 it doesn’t mean he would have been if we didn’t move up. Us going to #1 changed things up. But I agree, rational thinking will be out the door if that happens and the melt down will be full on.

There's a lot of talk still about us making a trade with Houston so they get Young. If they are that eager to acquire him that they would give us the 12th pick why wouldn’t we just draft him ourselves and be done with it? You run the risk of looking like a fool if you deal him and BY is a star with the Texans. Different variables to consider all around.

Where is this talk.  I haven’t seen a bleep of it outside of some fans on here and on Twitter.

vs

people who cover the Texans and guys who have sources with the Texans saying they are trying hard to move Down.

Of course the Texans are putting out that info they are hurt and playing hardball. But there's still a chance they get desperate and make an offer on the eve of the draft. I still would just stay at 1 and take our guy.

A team open to trading down from 2 aren't going to be trading up to 1. The only way Young ends up in Houston is if we pass on him, which at this point seems very unlikely.

They want to trade down because they only want young.  Common sense says that if they only want him that they'd be willing to trade up to get him.

You’re really going to think this is a smokescreen all the way to draft night?

Did I say smokescreen? There's a ton of time between now and the draft for a number of things to happen and you cannot predict how desperate one or two teams may get when the draft is unfolding. I get you're very high on Young I see the posts. But these discussions will continue and in all likelihood may only get louder so if it bugs you consider detaching once in awhile.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
