Will Levis is so cringe

With all the hate I see him getting, I hope he is successful in the NFL and makes some people shut their mouths. I'm not judging as I am in no position to judge him off of and only know what I see on television and internet message boards from random screen names. Willing to bet he becomes something decent and not knocking him for trying to put himself in the best possible shape. He is most definitely a physical beast and has every bit of a good chance to develop himself into a solid NFL QB with enough hard work.

Can he play a game in the NFL first?

You guys so quick to judge players before they even play in the league. My goodness give them a chance first!

Because we're talking about them as prospects. None of them have played an NFL game yet. Should we just not talk about prospects at all?

There's a difference between cocky and confident. The difference IMO is the realization that you still gonna have to work your ass off and put you all into it to be great. The cocky guys think they're just too damn good to possibly fail.

Which one does this fall under?

Marketer. All I care about is are you gonna put in the work required?  That's it for me. That's the line between cocky and confident. If you realize that you have to work your ass off to achieve greatness there's humility in that realization even if you're brash and hold in your outward persona.

Has anyone made a statement indicating that Levis doesn't work hard?

So it's just an impression. There's nothing to actually back it up at this point.

Doesn't seem overly cocky to me. Not Bryce Young level personality but does not seem like his development will be hindered on some made up "cocky bad attitude narrative that some appear to want to paint". I think they get some of the "cocky" from the fact that he takes mirror selfies shirtless and is probably in much better shape than many could ever hope to be in so it hits them in their ego just a bit. That's my take but we all see how valuable and different our takes are as fans. Only difference being I never threaten to leave my team's fanbase and no longer watch as a fan if the team makes a move I don't personally agree with.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
