Interesting article.  Fitt makes it clear they panicked a little as DEs came off the board fast.  Sounds like Johnson was the last DE on our board that we liked, so we had to be aggressive to get him. It is what it is…we only gave up a late 4th.

like someone said earlier, I’m actually happy we went offense in the 2nd the more I think about it.  Offensive teams win super bowls.

Wouldn’t shock me to see us trade back either in the 4th or 5th to collect a 6th rounder.  
 

for example, we could trade 114 to Arizona for 122 and 180 (3rd pick of the 6th).
