Now that that’s over let’s turn our attention to next year’s class

The Bears might be in position to draft Harrison with their own pick. I think they just had a pretty shitty draft, I have them as one of my big losers. Trading out of the Jalen Carter pick to take a RT then subsequently drafting DT with 2 of your next 3 picks is weird to me. And the top DT they got is a guy with questionable motor. Didn’t get Fields much help. Just a weird draft to me after you commit to Fields by trading out of the first pick.

Taking Wright over Skronski and Broderick is foolish. Wright has a similar profile to Teven Jenkins. So dumb.

He’s the best WR prospect since Chase and a future All-Pro.

I’d mostly agree but his game hasn’t been scrutinized yet because he’s not draft eligible. Again, my biggest knock in the kid right now is when you look at the last like 4-5 top WRs to come from OSU it feels like he gets the least separation of the bunch.

Which ironically should give more credit to stroud for putting the ball where Harrison could make catches. It will be interesting to see  him match or improve his production next year with a new QB.

As of right now I do give more credit to Stroud.

I've got to admit next year may be a my favorite since we don't have a first rounder.  Once we we traded for the #1 pick this year, I basically tuned out the draft.  I knew it would turn into a #1 pick circus...and it did.

Next year's draft will back to the serious draft folks.

I am so ready for our first round pick to the Bears to be in the 20s so bears fans will STFU about us handing them Marvin Harrison Jr.

All I know is we better not end up giving a Top 10 pick in the end, especially with how good next year's QB class is, as long as we're giving them something in the teens I'll be happy.

But the funny thing is that the Texans very well may have given away their best chance at landing Harrison to pair with Stroud by giving up their 1st rounder to get Anderson.

Still makes no sense to me, do they really expect to be better than the Browns?  Should have given up the pick they got in the Watson deal and keep their own 1st next year instead.

I know it's a biased pick since I'm an Arizona alum, but I'm really hoping we can land Jacob Cowing in like the 3rd round next year, I think he'd be a great slot to pair with Mingo and hopefully TMJ if he can take a leap this year.

He had 69 catches for 1,354 yards two years ago at UTEP and then transferred to Arizona and had 85 catches for 1,034 yards this past year with 7 TDs in each season.

He just stood out in every game, super crisp route running, great hands, and a YAC monster.

He's a prototypical NFL Slot WR

I agree they are getting universally praised for taking a guy who looked like poo all of his college career outside of last year at RT and a DT who has bust written all over him

He’s significantly bigger than those OSU WRs. He reportedly ran a 4.46 in high school and I’m sure he isn’t slower now. I also think he draws the most attention from opposing defenses compared to the others, and he still dominates.

Who knows if he will even be the top in class next year? So much changes every year and Harrison made spectacular catches on highlights but the truth is he’s often not gaining separation against college corners, which is why they require highlight throws and catches.

ehhhh I think he's pretty damn good, you're 100% right so much changes between now and then though

    • You're saying the same thing as I said.  Until Jordan becomes an active part of recruiting and funding, this school will continue to fall way behind.  But to say Michael Jordan or the Jordan brand doesn't matter anymore, which is what you said, is flat out wrong.
    • I have not learnt my lesson and will always want Uber athletic profiles. Sorry, Im a whore about it.... Im not the right guy to defend Kenyon, I just have a understanding with this years draft, numbers, and panthers roster. He is more of "upside/project" and we are talking 19th pick here too.  I know about the years of all the mock drafts with TEs in them and I did want Pitts too.... Look I love the current TEs on the roster too, just this guy should be better than any of them at their best.  Right now I feel OT is the correct target, but panthers as a org are trying to win in 2026 than 2027. So tea leaves and all, Kenyon would help this year. You can even say flex him to slot for most of the snaps and think of tmac on smoke routes with Kenyon blocking for him. I just hate BY is the shooter..... warren, I would say he's the better prospect even without his rookie year, *but he was late bloomer like XL if Im right, plus age was 25ish?? Bears picked love above him, mainly cause of recs.  You can make a case that Kenyon is not a TE, but a moving weapon for offense that can be in the backfield, on the LOS, slot, and even X.... imean he's got XLs combine on some numbers.... He would be better to a offense mad scientist type...is that Dave? or is that bevell?? I think the Panthers should have him as a 19 pick, with others...
    • That's one of the best power play games I've seen us have in a while.
