It was an issue at bama with some passes.  Not enough to be overly concerned about

Wasn't he like 1 of 5 on the deep balls at his pro day? The camera work was so horrible it was giving me vertigo but I think that was the count

So he had two underthrows and one overthrow. You don't want to see that but it sounds like chemistry also has a role.

So what's the verdict guys should we give him training camp or should we start shopping him now? 🤔

I mean, you obviously cut him now and offer up our next first for Darnold

I mean if we’re gonna talk about how Bryce was and what PNP said about it, they said he had a really good day overall with the 11 on 11’s and 7 on 7’s which is the more important thing as opposed to over analyzing the throws on air that I’m sure he’s completed millions of times.

You can’t put down PNP then praise Big Katt in the same sentence lmao.

Rashad did acknowledge that it was probably a chemistry thing and they’re generally pretty unbiased and analytical with their analysis.

Did the throws look good? No, but also like it’s an OTA session in May. It’s not the end of the world. The overreactions to this and the batted pass are OD but we knew this would happen as soon as he messed anything up.

Haha Paws up til I die. Big Katttttt

Corral pooped the bed last preseason, but he has come out strong here in the OTAs. Sometimes a painful rejection can light a fire under someone. Corral is here to fight and claw it appears from what little information we have at this point. Yes this is jumping to conclusions based on limited information, but that's kind of how sports forums work. Corral is showing me something here, and I think the coaches are taking notice.

    • They may be meaningless in the sense of wins and losses but this team isn't yet at a place where that is honestly all that matters  It's full of young players that need to make progress for us to compete consistently and this (multiple players in a year getting it) is evidence that's starting to happen.
    • This argument takes nuance, but I see both sides of it.  Bryce's good games, he's one of the best in the league, without a question. Lately, his really good games have been few and far between, though we are riding on a career best day last week. His bad games are not NFL quality. Hard to argue that as well.  He reminds me of Cam Newton in one way. They are both such statistical anomalies that evaluating them can be extremely difficult. QB roulette is absolutely no path to success. Furthermore, we have literally watched our franchise recently let 3 QBs go that left and proved they could still do it at a high level. I definitely give Bryce this season, and probably next season.  If Bryce can be the good version of Bryce more consistently it's crazy to let him walk. With the inconsistencies too, I think we could probably get a team friendly deal. If he can't bring next year's roster to the playoffs, he's not the guy, period.  I do think Bryce is always going to be a guy that requires a quality offensive line due to his physical limitations. I think we can do it, but it's a factor to consider.  You have to account for that money, and Damien Lewis, Robert Hunt and Taylor Moton are all between 28-31. If he's our guy for the next 10 years, it does appear he's going to have a top quality #1 receiver to get the ball to.
