Bro, you need to learn to read. I defended Mark Williams relentlessly last year

Like I said you’re barely here and only come draft time to troll..

Yeah you liked the Williams pick while complaining about trading Duren..

At this point your annual emergence is a box of chocolates..

I didn’t complain about trading Duren. You have me confused with someone else.

Even at that level it still shows that he is making extremely poor decisions or is a complete moron or perhaps both.  All things considered the hornets (MJ) were completely tone deaf given this team and cities history with out of control athletes.  And the fan reaction last night is exhibit A that I am 100% right.  Watching mitchs PC its clear as day that jordan overrode everyone and made the pick.  Maybe he works but the overriding point is MJ is a complete buffoon and a horrible horrible owner.  Perhaps the worst in all of sports history and for some reason he was allowed to make this pick.

The fans booed because they wanted Scoot because he has been hyped up for several years now. I remember fans getting upset about Melo as well. Fans didn’t like the Panthers drafting Luke. Fans aren’t always the best indicator. I get they are going to be skeptical of this franchise’s moves and it’s understandable. Again Miller was ranked 2 or 3 in most boards. It wasn’t some random move by this team.

Because his story doesn't pass the smell test.   And it's not surprising that the Tuscaloosa PD did very little to investigate the star of the university during a special season.

The DA oversaw it as well. Are they all corrupt and protecting Miller or are you just trying to make it fit your current narrative?

LOL Mack and Bone literally just said that in order to interview Miller the hornets had them to agree to not ask any questions about the incident.

fuging cowards.  Is this really how its going to be?  fuging weak, yeah hornets shield the baby and see how that works out.  Be a man like Kerry Collins did with his incident/problems and address it, field questions and be done with it.

Kupchack talking about not having a leader on the court, wtf are him and Clifford leading? I don't have much faith in the nerds buying the team but hopefully they clean house and pay for a better staff that's not just obviously mailing it in

Heard on the radio by Jay Williams, `When are people going to get over the situation with Miller?`. I dont follow bball and wanted to come here to find out what happened. After reading this, wow how could he even ask that question? I thought it wasnt anything meaningful, but was really wrong about that. Even though he was cleared, its easy to see how it can still be an issue for people.

Innocent or not, Miller will carry this event on his mind the rest of his life. I know I would.

If Miller was head and shoulders above Scoot I could understand the pick with the baggage attached. He wasn't though.

No idea how you compare Scoot and Miller and be ok with this pick.

Mitch couldn't event articulate what attracted them to Miller so much, likely because he thought Scoot was better and was overruled by the biggest stooge in pro sports, Michael Jordan.

Mitch is also senile, so that's worth considering.

Miller's fans have more pre-made excuses than MKG's fans had in 2012. New franchise record!

Heaven forbid you mention MKG to Miller fans. They'll lecture you about how much better of a shooter Miller is while failing to see the true similarities between the picks and landscape.

I hope that Miller will be better than MKG and, objectively, I think he will be. But if it's not by much, ooh wee mayne

    • Director of College scouting should be next. I'd like to see the organization go after Senior Bowl Director Jim Nagy who's a good friend of Dan Morgan back in their time in Seattle
    • I always just go back to what I said at the time. Trade Burns to the Rams because it's a fantastic deal. I was screaming it. I'm still angry at Fitt over that. Right after he turned down the deal I said he needed to get into a time machine and go back and make the deal. Hate that dude. Ruined our team. Trading D.J was a major mistake because what matters most in the NFL is the passing game, so you never unload a proven #1 WR when there are other options. Always trade a defensive player over a WR if you have that option available. Fitt was precious about defensive players when we had a passing offense that didn't function. That's how know he was completely incompetent. The passing offense is the top priority, so until that is functioning all defensive players are possible trade fodder. At this point we're in a rebuilding year under a new GM and a QB who looks absolutely horrendous. It makes perfect sense, if you follow all of our moves, that we would be the worst team in the NFL. Of course we are. You can't screw up as a GM that many times over the years and not ruin the franchise. We're exactly where we should be, dead last, or bottom 3. Whichever you like. But this is the here and now. Dan did a good job getting our 2nd round pick back, and we won't know about the picks until they take the field in regular season games. We're in dark until then, but if they suck the Panthers media will hide it shamelessly. Remember when Young was supposed to be a football genius? Yeah he was rancid turds out there when live fire started. There is some hope. Either Young improves and we win more games, or he stays about the same and we draft a new QB in 2025. Either way the NFL will help us out of this jam, but all we need is for Dan not to screw it up.
