The way some of the schedules shape out for the teams drafting 6-10, we could very easily be handing the #6 pick to SF by the end of the season.

Clearly Hurney and Fox had no idea we would be without a QB this year. They thought they were trading away a high 20's big, no biggie. If they knew they were trading a top 10 pick they would never have done it.

Like Jordan Gross said, we really had no reason to be bad. I mean, I realize Delhomme was coming off one of the worst games of his career, but I don't think anyone thought he'd play as horribly as he has.

Just like last year, the preseason gave us a pretty good indication of what to expect in the regular season.

Well hopefully it cost them their job. I can't remember the last time a team traded a top 10 pick while getting so little compensation.
