Bill Voth's tweet is exactly the type of mentality I'm sick of hearing from this organization

Well, I didn't think about the thread, but...People actually have a right to have high expectations, however unrealistic it appears. I mean, I am not discounting that we could surprise, but I'm very far from counting on it. I've already discussed the reasons in another thread, but people are going to believe what they want---even after seeing us looking sketchy during the preseason---so anymore discussion seems fairly useless.

I'm not going into the year with high expectations, or much in the way of expectations at all honestly.

It's year one and everything is new. It's going to take time to gel.

I'm still excited for the actual season.

Honestly he is stating the obvious which he has done forever.  If we end up beating expectations than his statement doesn't matter but that’s the point.

He isn’t a coach or player or anything important…don’t worry about it

then thank fuging god we brought in a hucklefug who literally ran our organization into dirt only to be further behind than we were 4 fuging years ago.

Our coaches aren't settling for anything.

The reality is we have an all new staff. All new systems.

Which very rarely does that equal immediate success in year one.

Now sure what the fug any of you expected before we even drafted Byrce Young.

The expectations should have been realistically tempered.

Then we draft a QB first overall, and all the sudden the tream has no excuses?

What a bunch of BS.

Here we re in preseason,  passing and moaning about crap that simply isn't going to matter in a couple more weeks.

I hate to be the one to state the obvious here. And I'm surprised no one has yet to say it.

Bill Voth is NO LONGER CONNECTED WITH THE PANTHERS ORGANIZATION.

He is expressing his own private thoughts. Don't get shook that this is coming from anyone in the Panthers organization.

Duh
