All joking aside, I wouldn't hate it because I don't have a good feeling about Corral developing and we all know Dalton is just a mentor for a couple of years...not a long term solution at backup.  If we want to develop another QB, now is the time to do it while Dalton is here.

Yep they snatched our 5th round pick his rookie year, Barner. Amongst other mean things they've done to us.

Barner was traded to the Eagles in his second season in Carolina.

Barber was a 6th rounder. He did manage a full season for us before getting traded.

Feels like I see the phrase "former high draft pick from the Patriots cut" a lot these days.

They haven't necessarily drafted particularly well for a while now.

(hence the massive free agent frenzy of a couple years ago that included Cam Newton)
