Heading into his 9th season, he restructured his deal to remain a Carolina Panther, loyalty is not in style much these days in the world

 

Came out of the draft as a TD 2.0, played Safety, RB and converted to a TE, a remarkable athlete and overall great ambassador of the organization in the community

 

While he was never Luke, TD, Beason, Morgan, he does follow the steps of great Panther LBs and I thought taking a moment to recognize the team's elder statesman was in order!

But in all seriousness, I like Shaq. He's a good dude and an above-average LB who's been very underrated by many Panthers fans.

hey a good thread from thebigkat, I guess when you make dozens some are gonna be solid!

 

all kidding aside, yeah I've become a huge Shaq fan after being lukewarm on him earlier in his career. He's been great on the field the last several years and is a stalwart now and the longest tenured non-LS Panther. It's tough following Luke and TD and even before that Beason, Morgan, etc. (this franchise has had some damn good LBs) but he's been rock solid. I would like to see some more fire and intensity out of him at times but he's a more laid back west coast dude so I get it.
